1. Who we are
Bonita Payments LLC ("Bonita," "we," "us," or "our") is a payment technology and merchant services company headquartered at 650 Poydras Street, Suite 2315, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130. Bonita operates through Fiserv Direct processing infrastructure and provides merchant services and the proprietary QuarterSuite software ecosystem. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with bonitapayments.net (the "Site") and our related sales, onboarding, and support activities (together, the "Services"). It does not govern the separate agreements between you and Bonita, your sponsor bank, or the card networks, which are addressed in your executed merchant or partner agreements.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to information we collect through the Site and through business interactions initiated on the Site (for example, quote requests, contact submissions, and partner applications). It does not apply to third-party websites we link to but do not control, or to information we process solely on behalf of a merchant as a service provider under a separate agreement.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide: name; business name and role; email address; telephone number; estimated processing volume, average ticket, or statement details you choose to share; the content of messages you send us; and, during a formal application (which may occur off-Site), business and beneficial-ownership information, tax identification numbers (such as EINs), and bank account information required to underwrite and board a merchant account.
Information collected automatically: technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps, via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
Information from third parties: information from our sponsor bank, processor and processing partners, credit and identity-verification providers, and business-data sources, to evaluate applications, prevent fraud, and meet card network and regulatory requirements.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The Site is intended for businesses and business representatives.
4. How we use information
To respond to inquiries and provide quotes; evaluate, underwrite, and board merchant and partner applications; provide, maintain, and improve the Services and QuarterSuite; communicate about accounts, applications, and support; personalize and improve the Site; detect and prevent fraud and security incidents; comply with card network rules, applicable law, and our contractual obligations to our sponsor bank and processor; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Calculator outputs, rate examples, savings estimates, funding timelines, and product-availability statements are illustrative only and are not offers; they are subject to underwriting, processor rules, sponsor bank requirements, card network rules, and executed agreement terms.
5. How we share information
With our sponsor bank and processor and Fiserv Direct processing partners; the card networks and their designated agents; regulators, law enforcement, and other parties where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property; and service providers (hosting, analytics, email delivery, identity verification, CRM) that act on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We may also share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data retention
We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with card network rules and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials and application materials confidential.
9. Your choices and rights
You may opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; we may still send transactional or relationship messages. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) may, subject to verification and legal exceptions, request to know, delete, or correct personal information, and be free from discrimination for exercising these rights; because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no "Do Not Sell or Share" action is required. 10. International users
The Site is intended for users in the United States; information will be processed in the United States.
11. Third-party links

We may update this Policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
